Terms and Conditions

I declare that I have been informed by Ricardo Urban that the activity to be carried out has the following characteristics and inherent risks related to the chosen activity:

  • It takes place in a wild environment, generally far from civilization, with high-risk conditions that may endanger my physical and psychological health.

  • The contracted service only includes the services detailed in the information provided by Ricardo Urban, excluding any service not listed in the program, which will be my sole responsibility.

  • The costs of evacuation and any expenses arising from the early interruption of the expedition, whether by my own decision or that of the Guides in charge, will be my sole responsibility and are not included in the contracted services.

  • The contracted service may be altered in terms of the original program, routes, or destination, by the sole decision of the guides in charge, if safety conditions, according to their risk assessment, so require.

  • I have received prior guidance and timely information regarding all aspects of this expedition: level of difficulty, necessary training, required equipment, exposure to the environment, risks of the activity, services, means of transportation, accommodation, food, etc. Agreeing with all the explained items, and committing to comply with all the required equipment requested by the organization, and respecting the decisions of the Guides in charge, I hereby confirm my decision to participate in this experience contracted with Ricardo Urban.

By this statement I give my consent:

  • For the activity to take place in the locations determined by the company.

  • That, at the discretion of the organizers, and according to safety and risk management standards, activities may be suspended and/or I may be excluded from those for which I am not considered fit.

  • That the activity may be modified at any time if conditions are not suitable for its development, whether due to terrain, weather, geographic, or political reasons, as determined by the guides and staff in charge.

  • To send via email or WhatsApp a medical certificate of good health signed by a competent physician, and to deliver the original document at the time of the expedition meeting.

  • To sign the personal form, accepting the risks involved.

Cancellation Policies

By Ricardo Urban:

  • If the minimum required number of participants is not reached, 100% of the deposit or payment made will be refunded.

By the client:

  • Up to 30 days before the start of the activity: 25% of the total program cost will be retained, for administrative expenses and prior logistics reservations essential to the development of the chosen activity.

  • Within 30 days prior to the contracted activity: 50% of the total program cost will be retained.

  • Within 7 days prior to the start of the contracted activity: 100% of the total program cost will be retained.

Note:

  • If within 30 days prior to the activity, 50% of the payment made may be applied to a future trip (if the full amount was already paid). The other 50% will be retained for prior logistics expenses. In case only a deposit was paid, 100% of the deposit will be retained.

  • If within 7 days prior to the activity, 100% of the payment will be retained.

  • All refunds, whether deposits or full payments, will be made using the same payment method originally used and for the exact amount paid at the time.
